Josh A. Jonas, LCSW-R

Josh Jonas is the Clinical Director and co-owner of The Village Institute.

His specialty began in the world of trauma and addiction and has grown to include, as he calls it, “high achievers who are miserable.” He is passionate about working with couples, having trained specifically in EFT. Josh also feels a special calling to the work he does with men, which involves the embracing and growing of the positive aspects of their masculinity.

His courses The Therapeutic Search for Meaning, and The Art of Fulfillment have been requirements as part of the The Village Institute’s doctoral internship. His writing has been featured in publications such as The Huffington Post and Quartz Magazine, and he is also co-creator and host of the podcast Session Lessons; a podcast whose mission is to show how powerful and effective therapy can be.

He is a music junky, a Mets fan, and believes that good therapy can change the world.
