Dr. Jonas is the Clinical Supervisor at TVI and has been practicing clinical psychology for over 25 years. She has a PhD in Clinical Psychology from The Derner Institute at Adelphi University (’86) and also completed post-doctoral training in psychoanalysis. Her clinical experience includes interpersonal psychotherapy groups (including a group for parents who lost children on 9/11) and individual psychotherapy dealing with varied disorders and issues from trauma and anxiety to PTSD, depression, abuse and loss.
She enjoys working with patients who are at a transitional time in their lives from leaving home for the first time, to coping with divorce or dealing with the loss of a loved one.
Dr. Jonas is a member of the American Psychological Association and the New York State Psychological Association.
She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology at The Derner Institute at Adelphi University (’86) and is trained in Psychoanalysis.
